Introducing Promise Wedding Fayres LIVE

We're pleased to announce that after the initial launch of the LIVE feature at our Autumn 2023 series, it will become a permanent feature at our and Parc y Scarlets wedding fayres.

In short, this will be an opportunity for musicians and entertainers the opportunity to take a LIVE spot at the fayre for a fraction of the cost of the usual exhibiting cost!   We're deeming it a 'Play and Stay' package

Why are we introducing this? 

The Wedding Fayre market is already booming in South Wales with fashion shows, showcases, menu sampling, bridal sales etc. therefore we want to add value to what is already being offered to couples and bridal parties - everyone's a winner that way right? 

Whilst many are sourcing their wedding suppliers online, we know there is nothing better than having the opportunity to meet in person.  With wedding fayres forming an integral part of a couple's wedding planning journey we know that many visit multiple events (with different event organisers) to source their suppliers. So here at Promise Wedding Fayres we simply want to give them something different to add to that experience. 

Music and entertainment forms an important part of a wedding day.  From walking down the aisle, entertaining the guests, the first dance through to partying the night away! Couples will have the opportunity to sit down, grab a drink and listen/watch a selection of musicians/entertainers throughout the wedding fayre at our two larger fayres - Stadium and Parc Y Scarlets.

What's included in the package for entertainers? 
  • 20-minute slot to perform live at the fayre in front of The Bridal Bar and LIVE on social media.
  • 3ft space to display a banner and to speak with prospective couples (option to upgrade to a larger stand)
  • Featured in the pre-event line-up social media posts and emails to couples/bridal parties
All of this for a trial price of £80

We are trialling the Stay and Play package for just £80 at the Stadium and Parc Y Scarlets weddings fayres during the Autumn 2023 wedding fayres.

Please note, no PA system or equipment is provided on the day.

We are encouraging any supplier that falls into the entertainment category but is not limited to musicians.

We would love to hear from any business/person that is able to demonstrate its services/offering in front of an audience.


Due to noise levels, there will be some categories of musicians that we will need to restrict from having a LIVE spot.  We need to be mindful of the other exhibitors and attendees at the fayre and noise levels will need to be kept below a specific level.  For example, a full band would not be feasible, not only because there is only a 10-minute window to set up, however the noise generated from a band would be too loud for the space we are using.  If you have any questions about whether you'd be eligible please get in touch. 

We will also be aiming to have 1 musician/entertainer per category to provide a good mix for those attending. 

Exhibitors are permitted to set up their stands from 8am/9am (depedning on venue) and are asked to be set up by 10.30am before the fayre starts.  

With regards to your live set, you will be allocated a set-up time based on the time of your performance.  i.e. if your performance starts at 12.30pm, you will be asked to set up between 12.20pm and 12.30pm.  Your performance will finish at 12.50pm promptly ready for the next act to move onto the stage to set up. 


In between each set there is a 10-minute turnaround.  The time is limited to ensure we can showcase as many acts on the day.  Understandably this isn't going to be feasible for all types of entertainers and this must be factored in when making the decision to take part in the LIVE performance.  

You will be allocated a 30 minute slot.  10 minutes to prepare your stage and 20 minutes to perform.  If you require longer to set up, you will have less time to perform.

You will need to bring everything you need to perform including any PA system, equipment, instruments, music etc.  If you require electric hook up, you will need to bring a sufficient extension lead.  

As you will have the opportunity to showcase your talent to those attending the fayre before/after your LIVE slot you will have a 3ft area where there will be space for a pull-up banner (no bigger than 1.5m wide).  You will be provided with a small table in order to place leaflets/business cards and enough space for a laptop/tablet. 

Your stand will be located near 'The Stage' therefore it is advisable that you bring earphones and a laptop/tablet in order for your prospective customers to listen/watch any videos/audio you may have.  

If you require more space for your stand, an upgrade to a full table in the main wedding fayre area is available at an additional cost. 

It is unlikely as we are aiming to bring on board 5 acts for each of the LIVE wedding fayres all of which will be different.  Should there be an act that we deem similar to you we will get in touch with you. 

The LIVE feature of the event will be included in all pre-event marketing campaigns including specific social media posts and emails with the line-up of acts.  Every person attending on the day will be provided with a print-out of the line-up and encouraged to watch/listen throughout the event.

  • Google Organic Searches for search terms such as:  Wedding Fayres South Wales, Wedding fairs South Wales, Wedding Fayres Swansea, Wedding Fayres Cardiff etc.
  • Google Events
  • Eventbrite
  • Facebook Events
  • Targeted Facebook Advertising 
  • Wedding Magazines
  • Local banners & Signs
  • Wedding Fayre listing websites
  • Remarketing via our email database of couples who've previously attended events.
