Effective from July 2025

New Exhibitor Booking Policy

From July 2025, Promise Wedding Fayres will be introducing a new policy for first-time exhibitors. Businesses that have not previously exhibited with us will be required to complete an on-boarding questionnaire, may be limited to booking one fayre per series (excluding The Orangery**) or maybe requested to apply at a later date (depending on experience in the wedding industry).

This policy has been carefully developed in response to feedback from our long-standing and loyal exhibitors, many of whom have expressed concern about reduced availability due to an influx of new businesses to Promise Wedding Fayres. At the same time, we remain committed to welcoming new talent and innovation to our fayres, which is vital to the continued growth and success of the business.

Why are we making this change?

Certain supplier categories at our events particularly photography are in very high demand. Rather than closing off opportunities entirely, this policy allows us to maintain a healthy balance between supporting our trusted exhibitors and making space for new businesses to join us.

How does it work?

New businesses may apply using our usual application process in addition to the NEW EXHIBITOR APPLICATION. If multiple events are selected, we will accept only one booking initially. This cannot include The Orangery.  Once the first event has been successfully attended and our minimum expectations are met, the business will be free to apply for additional fayres in the current and future series, subject to availability.

What is the minimum criteria?

We want to build supportive, long-term relationships with all of our exhibitors. To be eligible for further bookings, new businesses must demonstrate the following as a minimum:

  • Prompt payment of deposits and final balances
  • Reliable and professional communication
  • Punctual arrival and full participation on the day of the fayre
  • A well-presented and engaging stand
  • Provision of relevant insurance, certificates, or licenses (if applicable)
  • Respectful and courteous conduct
  • Active promotion of the event via your own channels

We understand that for many, exhibiting at a fayre may be a new experience. That's why we are happy to offer support and advice to help new exhibitors make the most of their day including tips on stand setup, how to attract and engage visitors, and how to maximise visibility both before and during the event. We want you to succeed, and we’re here to help make that happen.

*Promise Wedding Fayres reserves the right to apply or waive this policy at our discretion, based on the nature of the application and the overall needs of the event. This can include (but is not limited to), years in business, number of weddings completed, prior wedding fayres attended and number of existing businesses in the category.

**The one event initially booked cannot be The Orangery - our flagship and most in-demand wedding fayre. Once the restriction has been lifted, eligible businesses may apply for future events at The Orangery and additional fayres with availability.  However some businesses maybe contacted closer to the event where there is availability in a category.

Promise Wedding Fayres reserves the right to refuse future applications if the minimum criteria outlined above are not met. This is to ensure that all of our fayres maintain a high standard of professionalism, presentation, and experience for the benefit of exhibitors, couples, and the overall success of the events.
